Most people think of summer camp as fun, adventure, and new friendships, and it is. But at Chabad of Sacramento, our summer camp carries more: it changes lives.
Our campers come from a wide range of backgrounds, each child welcomed with warmth and without judgment. Many face significant challenges at home, including poverty and dysfunction, and for them, camp becomes more than just a summer activity, it becomes a lifeline. A place of stability, joy, and hope. A place where they can begin to believe in a brighter future.
While parents work hard to meet basic needs, camp provides the love, structure, and encouragement every child deserves. The moment a camper walks through our doors, they enter a safe and nurturing environment where they can leave their worries behind and simply be a child.
Sadly, today’s economic reality forces us to turn away children who need this most. It is heartbreaking to say no to those who would benefit so deeply from this experience. We ask you to open your heart and support our camp scholarship fund, so that every child has the opportunity to attend.
This summer, we aim to raise $22,500 to support 30 children, or $15,000 to support at least 20 children, giving them a meaningful and uplifting summer.
Thank you for your consideration. We hope you will partner with us by sponsoring.
